Mill Attachment for Metal Lathe

A milling attachment for a lathe or the like having a base supported vertical column including a vertical dovetail
slot, a block having a dovetail slidably received in the dovetail slot and a vertical adjusting screw rotatably
secured to the column and passing through the block to thereby raise and lower same. The block carries a
spindle having a horizontal axis of rotation extending along one side of the supporting column and further carries
an electric motor which is positioned adjacent the supporting column and has an axis of rotation which is
horizontal and extends perpendicularly to the spindle axis. The block, spindle and motor are locked at a selected
vertical position by means of a hand screw which extends through the vertical column dovetail slot into the
dovetail wherein it is threaded to a T-nut slidably received within a vertical slot.
