It seems when I bought my 7x12 from Cummins it was packed pretty well. I don't think anyone can pack one to protect from a fork lift! Most of any damage I hear about during shipping is some slight bending of the back cover no real big deal. Cummins is good about taking care of their customers. I wouldn't hesitate a second to order one from them.
