The Homelite 42cc 18 In. Chainsaw is a rugged and dependable saw that delivers an excellent power-to-weight ratio to help reduce operator fatigue while providing plenty of quick cutting power.
Features
  • CHOKE LEVER - opens and closes the choke valve in the carburetor
  • FRONT HAND GUARD/CHAIN BRAKE - designed to quickly stop the chain from rotating. When the front hand guard/chain brake is pushed toward the bar, the chain should stop immediately
  • GUIDE BAR - has a small radius tip that offers a somewhat lower kickback potential
  • LOW KICKBACK SAW CHAIN - helps minimize the force of a kickback reaction by preventing the cutters from digging in too deeply at the kickback zone
  • PRIMER BULB - pumps fuel from the fuel tank to the carburetor
  • SAFE-T-TIP ANTI-KICKBACK NOSE GUARD - an attachment provided on the end of the guide bar to prevent the chain on the end of the guide bar from contacting the wood
  • THROTTLE TRIGGER - used for starting the chain saw, and also for controlling chain rotation
